- Longer tenancy – Pet owners are more inclined to re-new their lease as it can sometimes take more time and efforts to find another pet friendly rental.

When considering renting to pet owners Annapolis Property Services recommends:

To further mitigate your risk, Annapolis Property Services requires a $500 per pet deposit. Our lease also states that the tenant is responsible for the full cost of pet damage and requires all carpets to be professionally cleaned upon tenant vacation. Pet owning tenants are also required to complete a pet addendum stating the breed, type, size and age of the pet.
