Easy Move-out and Expedited Security Deposit Return

Moving can be time-consuming and stressful, so to make things a little easier, we are now pleased to offer our Easy Move-Out and Expedited Security Deposit Return option.

This allows you to move without worrying about scheduling house cleaning or carpet cleaning while having the balance of your security deposit refunded more quickly.

Should you select this option, APS will coordinate both the house and carpet cleaning on your behalf. The cleaning charges will be deducted from your security deposit, and we will expedite your deposit return within thirty (30) days of the end date of your lease rather than the standard forty-five (45) days. The cost is $95.00 and must be selected at least seven (7) days prior to your lease end date.

Easy Move-Out Service includes:

  • House Cleaning: APS will schedule and coordinate house cleaning to our move-out standard, and cleaning costs will be deducted from your security deposit funds on file. Move-out cleaning costs are based on the property’s square footage*:
    • 800 – 1199 sqft – 30 cents per sqft
    • 1200 – 1599 sqft – 28 cents per sqft
    • 1600 – 1999 sqft – 25 cents per sqft
    • 2000 – 2599 sqft – 23 cents per sqft
    • 2600 – 3200 sqft – 20 cents per sqft
      • Homes larger than 3200 sqft will be a custom quote
      • *If the property is excessively dirty, these rates will increase by up to 5 cents per sqft.
  • Carpet Cleaning: APS will schedule and coordinate carpet cleaning to our move-out standard, and the cost will be deducted from your security deposit. Carpet cleaning costs are based on the number of carpeted rooms in the house.
  • Trash Removal: APS will ensure trash and recycling cans are moved to the curb on trash day. The cost for disposing of any leftover personal items or trash not placed in trash containers will be removed at cost. This is generally $90.00 per hour plus landfill fees. The cost depends on the amount and weight of items plus one hour of travel time to/from the landfill.
  • Expedited Security Deposit Return: For homes with normal wear and tear and no damages beyond carpet and house cleaning, checks will be processed and mailed within thirty (30) days of the end date of the lease rather than the standard forty-five (45) days. Additionally, we will email you a copy of your check with the details of any security deposit deductions. The copy of the check you receive via email will meet the requirements for deposit via most mobile banking apps.
  • Request Easy Move Out and Expedited Security Deposit Return. I understand that I will be responsible for the actual house and carpet cleaning costs and any trash removal/leftover personal items removal costs and that these will be withheld from my security deposit.
  • The expedited deposit return (thirty days instead of the standard forty-five days) is subject to there being no additional damages to the property aside from normal wear and tear. Name(s) and Email address(s) for the Security deposit refund check:
