City of Annapolis Rental License
Effective May 1, 2026, to streamline the City Rental license application and renewal process service, we’re introducing a bundled package at an inclusive rate of $250
This includes:
- The annual license fee due to the city of Annapolis (currently $125), plu
s their processing fees. - Managing the online registration and renewal process for your property via the city’s permit portal.
- Scheduling and handling all communications with city inspectors and residents.
- Meeting with the city inspector at your property, either in person or virtually with the inspector
- Managing any issues identified during the inspection.
- Uploading the issued license to your property portal.
How the city conducts its inspections constantly varies (either in person or virtually). Still, an APS team member will be at your property in person to meet the city inspector and conduct the annual inspection.
If you prefer to handle the rental license process independently, there will be no additional charge from APS. Simply let us know, and we’ll make the necessary arrangements to support your choice.
