There are so many people that make what we do at Annapolis Property Services possible! One of our valued team members is our Outside Leasing Specialist and Senior Property Manager to Crownsville, Elizabeth Bartenstein. A typical day for Elizabeth is spent meeting with potential renters and assisting them in choosing the right home. She also prepares our renters for their move-ins by creating specialized move-in orientations for them, answering any questions they may have, and making the entire process as seamless as possible. For the past two years, Elizabeth has been an integral part of the APS team and says that her favorite part of the job is the satisfaction of knowing how well we take care of our clients and how happy they are throughout the process. She is incredibly easy to work with and enjoys being about to figure out the best way to service each individual client. She notes that her favorite part of working with our renters is seeing their happiness and relief when we help them find the perfect home. They’re always so blown away by how easy it is to work with us!
After high school, Elizabeth worked in the Annapolis area cleaning and working on boats for a marine service, where she met lots of new people. As she got older, she realized her interest in the property management industry as a renter herself and began to research companies in the area. After finding APS, she said it “seemed like a natural fit” and soon after joined the team! She loves her position and wouldn’t trade with anyone else within the company if given the chance, except for maybe Marco so that she could meet more of our new owners. When we asked what she would do with an hour of spare time in the office, she said she would just want to sit down and brainstorm about better ways to work smarter and improve our processes. Who wouldn’t want someone like that on the team?! What many people don’t know about Elizabeth is that she was actually born in Suva, Fiji! With her dual citizenship, she dreams of one day returning home and potentially even starting her own property management company! Fiji Property Services, anyone?! It’s tough to choose a favorite restaurant in Annapolis, but her answer was The Chart House without hesitation! Her family takes her there every year for her birthday! She swears by the mud pie and the waterfront view.
