What properties are available for rent?
All properties available for rent are listed on Annapolis Property Services' website and are updated daily.
What information do I need to provide to rent a property?
Proof of income, proof of identification (photo ID), employment history, and rental history for the past five years.
Is a security deposit required? How much?

All leases require a security deposit.  At a minimum the Security deposits are equal to one month’s rent.

When do I need to pay the security deposit?
The security deposit is due at time of lease signing.
How long is the lease period?
Most leases are for one year or more.  Longer term leases may be available.
Are pets allowed in rental properties?

The decision to allow pets is on a property-by-property basis.

If the property allows pets a deposit is usually required.

How much is the pet deposit?

A pet deposit is typically $500 per pet.

When is rent due?

All payments are due to Annapolis Property Services at the first day of every month.

Any rent not received by the 6th of the month will incur late fees.
How do I pay rent?

You can pay rent in the following ways:

  1. On-line Payment through our online accounting system
  2. Bill Pay through your bank
  3. Check either via mail or delivered to the to APS office
  4. Credit Card ( convenience charge will apply)
  5. Cash or cashiers check-  must be delivered in person during normal business hours
What utilities am I responsible for?
You are responsible for all utilities unless otherwise indicated.
Who is responsible for yard care?
Unless otherwise indicated residents are responsible for yard care and maintenance.
What do I do when something breaks?
If something breaks we ask that you submit a resident request through our online system.
Do you have a number in case of a property related emergency?

Should a situation occur that poses danger to the resident or further damage to the property, such as fire, burst water pipes, gas leak etc., first contact emergency response services at 911, and then call the APS Emergency phone number at 410-878-6539.

When will the security deposit be returned?

After the lease expires, security deposits are returned to the tenant, with interest, in accordance with Maryland State law, less any deduction for lease violations or damage to the property.
